Governor Veniamin Kondratyev: Krasnodar Region implementing over 4,700 investment projects worth 4.9 trillion roubles

«Five years ago, we developed a specific strategy, supplemented it with development agencies, and overhauled the entire system of state support. This has yielded tangible results. Today, the manufacturing and the health resort sectors are leading the way by a wide margin in terms of investment volume, accounting for over 70% of the region's total investment portfolio. There are currently 704 projects in the active phase, totalling around 4.9 trillion roubles. These include not only projects for which agreements have been signed at the regional level, but also smaller-scale projects implemented independently by local authorities. In total, they will help create more than 180,000 jobs,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.

The governor informed the press that in 2026 the region completed an investment project to construct new and refurbish existing production, engineering, and storage facilities at the Pervomaisky Cement Plant in Novorossiysk, enabling an annual output of 328,000 tonnes of cement.

A factory producing glassware and heat-resistant glassware, is under construction in Armavir. The first phase, involving the production of 264.1 thousand pieces of non-stick tableware with glass lids, has been completed. The second phase is scheduled for completion in 2027, enabling the production of 3.7 million lids annually.

Southern Heavy Machine Tool Plant has invested 5 billion roubles in expanding its machine tool production within VB Kuban industrial park. In 2025, the company produced 38 metal-working machines and created 750 jobs. As part of state support, the company received subsidies and preferential loans.

In the health resort sector, this year the region is implementing 199 projects worth 1.46 trillion roubles, including six major projects with a total value of over 76 billion roubles. Collectively, these will increase the number of hotel rooms by 2,800 and create 2,100 jobs.

In 2026, Anapa will welcome its first guests to the Dusit Thani Resort & SPA Anapa Miracleon, a five-star health resort with a spa centre, comprising 174 rooms, and to the Fioleto 3, a multi-purpose health resort complex with 350 rooms. In Sochi, the Polyana Peak hotel complex, with 832 rooms, is set to open.

In total, the Krasnodar Region is aiming to attract 1.3 trillion roubles of investment into its economy in 2026. To date, 20 major projects have been completed, totalling 71.6 billion roubles, almost four times more than during the same period last year, creating over 1,200 jobs.
