An investment project on the construction of the complex for utilizing rice husks, and generation of electricity and silicon-carbon compounds was implemented in the territory of the South Rice Company LLC in Kholmskaya Cossack Village, the Abinsk District. The complex produces silicon-containing materials from waste products of the rice production with simultaneous electricity generation. The volume of investments in the project amounted to 237.3 million rubles, and 6 new jobs were created.
